Cancellation Policy

 

HiddenWalks allows hosts to choose among three standardized cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate, and Strict) that we will enforce to protect both the guests and tour hosts alike. Each listing and reservation page on our site will clearly state the cancellation policy. Guests may cancel and review any penalties by viewing their travel plans and then clicking 'Cancel' on the appropriate reservation. 

 

Flexible: Full refund until 1 day prior to tour date, except fees

 

Moderate: Full refund until 5 days prior to tour date, except fees

 

Strict: Non-refundable once the reservation is made

 

  • The payment transaction fee is non-refundable (Paypal fee).
  • If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Hidden Walks within 24 hours of tour check-in.
  • HiddenWalks will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes.
  • A reservation is officially canceled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Tours I Booked > Change or Cancel.
  • Cancellation policies may be superseded by extenuating circumstances, in which case the guest and the host have to negotiate and agree on a cancellation term. Please review these exceptions on the Independent Tour Host Agreement page.
